Spring Treats
Whipping up spring themed treats such as easter egg cookies is another fun activity you can do in the kitchen with your loved ones. It’s a fun way to deepen your bonds with your loved ones while making delicious yet healthy treats.
To make easter egg cookies, you’ll need to either make your own sugar cookie dough and royal icing or buy ready-made ones. Cut the dough using easter egg-shaped cookie cutters, and bake and cool them according to your recipe. Separate the royal icing into 4 bowls and drop pastel-colored food dye of pink, blue, green, and yellow into each of the bowls. Thereafter, transfer the icing into piping bags to decorate and fill each of the cookie surfaces. Place the cookies in a dry area to set the icing and sprinkle some pastel sprinkles for a magical finishing touch.
Flower and Easter Egg Wreaths
An affordable yet fun spring themed craft is the making of wreaths. Wreaths can be placed on your door and do a great job of warmly welcoming your guests.
To make an umbrella wreath, after filling a colorful long-handled umbrella with a mixture of your favorite petals, tie the middle of the umbrella with a ribbon in the color of your choice to fasten the flowers.
Alternatively, you could make it Easter-themed by attaching 12 to 14 foam easter eggs which you can easily get from craft stores to pastel-colored crepe paper. To make it more realistic, you can cut out leaf shapes from green-colored felt sheets, pinching each end and securing them with glue to create a stem. Decorate around the wreath with leaves to give it a more balanced look.

To celebrate the arrival of spring, “may baskets” are left on the doorsteps or hung on doorknobs on the first day of May. May baskets are really easy and fun to make with your loved ones.
