Palm Beach County’s low-key dining scene has transformed into one that is busier than ever in just a couple of years. In fact, the chance of finding available seating gets harder and harder every day. It could be well worth the effort, however, if you decide to test out some of the more popular restaurants. Don’t give up if you don’t succeed the first time you call for reservations. Keep at it.
But where should you go?
When working your way through the hottest restaurants in Palm Beach County, FL, consider including some of the following establishments.
Le Bilboquet
One of the newest and most scrumptious additions to the menu at Le Bilboquet is the calamari and roasted cauliflower on a squid ink risotto cake. For those whose menu favorite was Cajun chicken, no worries – it’s still there. Also recently added, and gaining popularity fast, is a breakfast menu.
BiCE
For a picturesque outdoor patio and an upbeat vibe, check out this uber popular Italian spot. Enjoy veal and mushrooms stuffed in pockets of pasta; a salad with pumpkin, corn, hearts of palm, crabmeat, and romaine, and many other dishes.
La Goulue Palm Beach
The onion soup topped with dripping provolone cheese is legendary, but the atmosphere of wood paneling, frosted glass, and cushy leather banquettes can’t be beat. Also consider tarragon enhanced roast chicken; mussels with lemongrass, coconut, and curry; or the tuna and beef tartars.
Sant Ambroeus
Italy’s grand midcentury cafes inspired the design for this restaurant. Immediately at the entrance, you will have to work your way past the gelato and pastry cart to get to favorites like tagliatelle Bolognese, veal alla Milanese, and, of course, risotto.
Henry’s Palm Beach
The emphasis here is on comfort food and nostalgic offerings. Consider a Cuban sandwich; beef Wellington; chicken pot pie; or butter crumb Denver sole. A number of toppings can be included on your salad including lobster, salmon, chicken, shrimp, or steak.
Farmers Table
There’s plenty of outdoor poolside seating in which to enjoy a guilt free feast. Nothing is cooked in butter, or fried, and lower salt content can be found in each item. Consider coconut brown rice topped with spicy seared tuna (and black-eyed peas); artichoke and mushroom paella; or a fig braised onion topped burger.
