Cathy Patton

Executive Director

Cathy is a native Texan with a lifelong passion for serving seniors. For over 30 years, she has held a variety of leadership roles in senior healthcare, including practice administrator in an Internal Medicine practice, Director of Human Resources, Director of Business Management, and a Sales and Marketing Professional for several senior living communities.

For the past decade, Cathy has excelled as an Executive Director, leading communities that offer Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. Her work is defined by a deep commitment to the health, safety, and well-being of aging adults, helping them and their families navigate service options and lifestyle choices with compassion and expertise.

Cathy earned her Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences with a concentration in Healthcare Management from the University of Texas at Tyler, followed by an MBA with a specialization in Healthcare Management from the same institution. She also holds multiple professional certifications, including Certified Assisted Living Manager, Certified Food Safety Manager, and Certified Dementia Practitioner.

Outside of her professional life, Cathy treasures time with her husband, Greg. They have four adult children who are all married and have blessed them with seven grandchildren. They enjoy traveling, golfing, gardening, and cheering on their grandchildren in their many activities.

Senior Living Counselor

Liz was born and raised in northern Kentucky before moving to Texas in 2008. She started in senior living in 2013 as an Activity Director, finding it was an “aha” moment that this was the right place for her. Liz has a heart for the wiser generation and more specifically she loves helping seniors find the perfect place to call home and encourages them to live life to the fullest.
Liz has been married for 27 years to her husband Robb. Together, they have 3 adult sons, Logan, Luke and Landen.  Her favorite thing to do outside of work is gathering her family together, the more the merrier. Liz enjoys knitting, reading, hiking and playing cards. The longer that Liz works in senior living the more grateful she is to be in a place that encourages community. Few things make her happier than a room full of smiling faces enjoying fellowship together right here at Discovery Village At Twin Creeks!

Directing Celebrations at Discovery Village At Twin Creeks gives Katherine the opportunity to create holistic and all-encompassing resident programs that insure we all stay healthy in mind, body, and soul. When not nurturing or residents, Katherine is very busy raising her 3 daughters with her husband. The family enjoys everything nature has to offer and engages in new adventures every opportunity they get. Katherine is very excited to create and share memories and laughs with our residents!
