Mike Jacksic
Executive Director
Mike started his healthcare career when he was trained as a combat lifesaver in the Army to help support the field medics in Alaska. Upon discharge he discovered that his father had Alzheimer’s and to help relieve his mother’s worry about placing her husband in a skilled facility he enrolled into a nursing program and graduated from the program. His first nursing role was a charge nurse at a freestanding Alzheimer’s unit where his father was also admitted a few days later as a resident.
Mike fell in love with the healthcare environment and started to get involved on the operations side and moved into his first role as an Executive Director when Assisted Living was just starting in Ohio. His career took off and he held many positions to include, Divisional Trainer, Regional Operations, Divisional Operations and then Vice President of Operations all these positions were multi-state territories and
involved many hours on the road.
When the pandemic started to slow down, Mike also reevaluated his life and wanted to look for a more work life balance than what his 20 plus years on the road offered. He decided to step down into a nontraveling role and enjoy running a campus when he can go home to his spouse and three wonderful dachshunds.
When Mike has some down time, he enjoys traveling, landscaping, restoring properties and walking his pups.
Elisa Dansky
Director of Sales and Marketing
Director of Sales and Marketing Elisa Dansky brings to Discovery Village an extensive healthcare background, having worked in the hospital setting, skilled nursing and senior living industries. She has worked at Discovery Village at Boynton Beach for over 5 years, starting as a Senior Lifestyle Counselor. Elisa is a proud recipient of the 2020 Excellence in Sales Performance that recognizes exceptional leadership and results across the Discovery Senior Living organization. Additionally, she has received other awards for excellence in sales achievement in 2021,2022 and 2023. She and her husband Michael have been married for more than 30 years and they enjoy family gatherings which includes two children, three grandchildren and a dog. They enjoy cruising and have also traveled to Iceland, Israel, London and Paris. A graduate of University of Florida, Elisa and family are also involved with Florida Atlantic University as Owl Supporters.

Executive Chef
Throughout his career, Chef Pierre has worked in various environments including star Michelin restaurants, private clubs, brasseries, catering and banqueting, as well as corporate and academic settings. Each has provided a different perspective and contributed to his diverse experience and skills. Working under notable chefs such as Christopher Oaks (1-star Michelin), Charles Mercier (Casino Royale), Neil Patton, Paul Merrett (1-star Michelin) and Pierre Chambrin (former White House Executive Chef), he has had the opportunity to serve public figures such as Queen Elizabeth, George W. Bush, former Prime Ministers John Major, Margaret Thatcher and Sir Edward Heath, Prince Charles and Princess Diana, Princess Ann, Princess Margaret, the Irish Prime Minister and the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Bono, Jeremy Irons and Michael Caine. Chef Pierre has always had a special place in his heart for serving seniors, and is “not content with the status quo or simply meeting the minimum requirements, but rather seek excellence.”

Senior Lifestyle Counselor Anecia Cowell is a dedicated senior living professional with 14 years experience. She specializes in providing families with compassionate guidance to find ideal living solutions for their loved ones. Anecia is deeply passionate about enhancing the lives of seniors, ensuring they receive the care and support they deserve.
Outside of work, Anecia cherishes spending quality moments with her family and enthusiastically supports her daughter at swimming competitions. She finds tranquility in practicing yoga, expresses her creativity through interior design, and cultivates a serene atmosphere with her beautiful plants, reflecting her passion for creating welcoming environments.
