The best place to live! I've been to several communities and this is my favorite one. Beautiful building and spacious rooms with modern layouts. Staff is wonderful and kind. They have an indoor heated pool, well equipped gym, physical therapy/ occupational therapy, massage therapy, beauty salon and more! Very close to hospitals, doctors, and great places to eat or shop!

I was alone for 1 1/2 years. My daughter found Discovery Village and told me how amazing it was. I came and found out how great it is! I have met some wonderful people here. The kitchen staff makes great meals which I really like. The house cleaning crew makes Discovery Village very clean and tidy. The office staff is very knowledgeable and can answer any questions I have. The maintenance guys fix any problems I have as I am partially handicapped. They have made it so much easier for me to maneuver around my apartment. It's wonderful here!

I love working at Discovery Village at Alliance Town Center! Our residents are warm & welcoming! The staff members are like a second family! Really love the 10 to 15 minute drive to work!

I moved to Discovery Village at Alliance Town Center independent living in March 2023 because of the convenience for my son and family. I had lived in a community in Dallas for 9 years and Discovery Village is less costly. I have found the staff to be very responsive and approachable. I especially appreciate the maintenance team…I put in a work order this morning and it was resolved within an hour! The dining staff works hard to overcome when they are short staffed. My favorite breakfast is on Tuesday. I love the sausage, biscuit's, eggs and grits. I appreciate the cleanliness of our community and the valet trash service 3 times a week.

Discovery Village worked out as a perfect place for us to retire. The sales staff was wonderful. Everyone has made us feel at home and we love the community. We’re close to family & medical facilities. Dicovery offers lots of activities & a warm social environment

I have worked for this community for almost 6 years. I had only been here for less than 60 days when Discovery took over. I have been so impressed with Discovery & the company's culture and support for the community! Enough so that I moved my own parents into the Independent Living community. They just fell in love with it. My father passed after about a year and mom has remained and THRIVES here! The staff is amazing, food is wonderful as Chef Patty has been here since the community opened. So many great activites and ways to be social, Anita is amazing! Bobby and his maintenance team are courteous and responsive to needds, the community is clean and when people move in the thing we hear the most is "I wish I would have moved in sooner!". I would highly highly recommend Discovery Village at Alliance for any level of care you may be looking for, Independent Living, Assisted Living or Memory Care. You will not find any better!

I have been working for Discovery Village Assisted Living at Alliance in AL for 2 plus years now, and I love it. We have the most amazing residents and I just love them. What I love most about working at Discovery Village Alliance. is how Management cares so much to see that we are well staffed on every shift. I also like how Management allows us to share any good ideas that can improve the community or how it can help us as employees.I also appreciate the fact that, they have the family Medical Emergency Leave, which I personally benefited from.Catherine Cox

This is a beautiful, vibrant community and the staff in the Memory Care and the Assisted Living are always so kind when I visit. Kim Ballard and Alissa Barrett make a great team to care for your loved ones whether they need Memory Care or Assisted Living! I recommend giving them a visit.

This review is on behalf of my whole family. My Grandfather was a resident at Discovery Village and the nurses and staff were extremely attentive and kind to my grandfather. They truly went the extra mile to make sure he was cared for and happy. We never had to worry about his care because we knew he was in amazing hands. It was very evident that the staff cared about my grandfather deeply, as friendships were formed beyond his normal care. He praised them frequently. We checked in and visited with my grandfather frequently, and the staff always very aware of and communicative of his mental and physical state with my family. We are extremely thankful & blessed for discovery village for helping my grandfather have a great quality of life in his final stage of life.

The Assisted Living facility at Discovery Village has been a godsend. We were lucky enough to attend their open house and party. Aimee gave us our tour and was nothing but sweet patience as she showed us around and answered a million questions. We are very blessed to have our mom living there and under their care. The facility is beautiful, definitely, but every single employee and caregiver we have met has been warm, personable and generously attentive. It is truly an amazing place for its residents and you can see how happy and well cared for everyone is as you walk around and see friends gathered and lively discussions happening!Update after mom has lived there for 18 months. She is so well taken care of! The staff feels like family and care for mom as if she is their own. It’s a wonderful place that is a gentle and loving home for your loved ones!

The staff here is absolutely amazing! They are so loving and truly care about all the residents. Kim in Memory Care is simply the best, she plans the best activities and has such a fun spirit that she passes to the residents and you can tell that she really loves her job. The menus are fantastic and of great quality and the ambience here is just fantastic. I would recommend Discovery Village time and time again!

I don’t give out five stars lightly, but Discovery Village Alliance really deserves it. From their assisted-living side to their memory care, all the staff members are compassionate and caring, not just for your loved one, but also for their families. They have amazing activities and all the residents seem happy. I’m just so impressed.

I absolutely love coming to this facility. There are so many events in the assisted living side that it’s heart warming to see all the people interacting with each other. Their memory care unit staff are approachable and friendly to all visitors. It is a great place!

We did some research before setting up my 95 year old Dad here. Dad is 96 now, and has been here a year and a half. The Inside is very nice. There are numerous areas to visit with relatives outside their room, all like you would find in a nice hotel.My Dad is in the Memory Care area. It is secured, and visitors need to be let in or out by staff. The staff is very kind and conscientious. They seem to enjoy their job, and care about the residents there. Dad tells me that they are very nice to him. The care givers are tender and gentle with the residents. When a resident is crying or sad, they are comforted. When a resident is angry or even hostile, the caregivers show patience, and work to best diffuse the situation.There are activities in the Memory Care area, mostly designed to increase physical hand eye coordination, and stimulate their mental abilities.Field trips include parks, petting zoos, and fun restaurants.The Memory Care Director Kim Ballard always responds quickly to any concern I have (and mine are almost always trivial).Family is very important to Kim and the staff of caregivers.I go to visit Dad multiple times a week. I have never observed a care giver being rough, rude, or uncaring to Dad (even when I walk in unexpectedly).The food is very good here. Most meals could qualify for a blue plate special in a decent restaurant. The CFS and Fried Catfish seem to be favorites. Only a few meals every now and then seem put together with minimal effort.Prices here might be a little more expensive than most memory care centers. But I couldn't put Dad in a center that I wouldn't want to be in myself, under the same circumstances.

5 starts is not enough. Everyone was friendly, informative, professional and peaceful. They treated us with white gloves. I pray my friend gets in. What would stand in her way is her faith. The chief showed us around and She was amazing. The receptionist, was so professional and helpful. At one point the person showing us around when to get keys and the event person took over. The person going over the paperwork was also outstanding. Friendly, peaceful, security, clean.

My mother-in-law resided at Discovery Village Alliance for 3 years. We have had nothing short of a wonderful experience during her time there! The staff has always been kind and attentive, the facilities and grounds are extremely clean and well maintained, and most importantly they sincerely care for their residents. Throughout the years we have enjoyed many holidays, celebrations, and meals at the Discovery Village. They truly do provide a home like environment, along with meeting the needs of your loved one. The onsite therapy, entertainment, and transportation amenities are also a huge plus! We are thankful we found such a wonderful place for her to call home. Highly Recommend!

We moved my mom here a while back after a very disappointing experience at Legend Senior Living. The sales staff actually have us honest answers to our questions (unlike at Legend) and we got exactly what we needed.

My wife and I moved her parents here (independent living) in 2018. We are about to move them over to assisted living. They have enjoyed their time here. The facilities and staff are excellent. There are a number of options when it comes to meals and activities. Residents can become very involved or do their own thing. It's truly independent. During their 5+ years here, there have been a number of times where we needed the staff's help and advice. They have always been there for us. As we now transition them to assisted living, we have no concerns over the level of care they will receive. The move is very seamless and there are financial benefits in staying within the Discovery family. We can definitely recommend Discovery Village and, in fact, will have two close family friends moving in shortly based, in part, on our experience.

This is a great facility with an amazing staff. Every resident I've run into when visiting my mother absolutely loves it here. My mother is very excited to be a part of the community. They have a number of events, transportation, and truly think of all the needs for their residents.

I have been living here with my wife since October 2019 and cannot say enough goos things about the facilities and staff. Facilities are well decorated with art and other items. Facilities are always clean and well taken care of. Any problems with individual apartments are taken care of usually the same day they are reported by the very knowlegable maintenance crew.The entire staff treats residents as family and goes out of their way to help wherever they can.There are multiple programs and activities for residents to take part in which include but are not limited to games, arts and crafts,music, field trips etc.Dining facilities are very attractive and the food is excellent with a good variety of food choices. The dining staff is excellent and extremely helpful.A;ll in all this is in my opinion the best possible facility for Seniors and I would recommend it to anybody considering a Senior facility.

Everything but the food has been wonderful. It seems clear there are not enough resources being allocated for food. The general sentiment of residents, including my parents, is they are quite unhappy with the food quality. I suggest if you go for a tour that you go to the dining room and hear what the residents have to say at mealtime.

We are very pleased & satisfied with Discovery Village at the Alliance where my mom has been a resident since March 2023. Mom is feeling very much at home since then.The staff has been very professional, personable & caring towards mom and her family. Mom has also made great friends there & enjoys being engaged in social activities at the facility. The place is very warm, clean and feels like our second home whenever we visit mom there.We personally would recommend DV to anyone who wants their loved one to be in a safe & thriving environment. We have peace of mind knowing that mom is in good hands.
